BC First Responder's Mental Health Conference - January 31 - February 1, 2019
The BC First Responders Mental Health Committee invites you to attend an interactive two-day conference on January 31st and Feb 1 2019 aimed at creating a positive conversation about mental health in the first responder community. Learn about resources to help support your team and discover new tools to support first responders in caring for their mental well-being. Hear from top speakers, including Ellen Kirschman, recipient of the American Psychological Association’s 2010 award for outstanding contribution to the practice of police and public safety psychology, Dr Stephanie Conn, former police officer and author of Increasing Resilience in Police and Emergency Personnel, and Fire Chief Bobby Halton, editor in chief of Fire Engineering magazine and education director of the Fire Department Instructors Conference.
