These two-day, weekend workshops will give fire departments the opportunity to provide training for:
Members who require Live-Fire training (FIRE-1071) to complete their NFPA 1001 certification
- Instructors who would like to become Live-Fire Instructors (for those who meet the required prerequisites)
- Instructors who would like to become Live-Fire Evaluators (for those who meet the required prerequisites)
Members participating in these workshops will be using the updated JIBC Live-Fire Curriculum Training Materials.
The following locations and dates have been scheduled for fire departments to register their members:

|Zone 3||Penticton Fire Dept.||Dec. 1-2, 2018|
|Zone 5||Dawson Creek Fire Dept.||Oct. 20-21, 2018|
Please note: The registration deadline for each workshop is seven (7) business days before the workshop’s start date. Departments are encouraged to register early to secure seats for their members.
The final cost of each student will depend on the total number of paid students registered for a specific workshop and range from $500 to $250 per student, plus applicable taxes.
A minimum of 10 paid registrants is required for a workshop to proceed as scheduled to a maximum of 20 students per workshop.
The workshop will be postponed to a later date if the minimum number of students required is not met for a specific session. Participants will be notified in advance if the workshop is to be rescheduled.
