Career Firefighter - Vernon - closes February 5, 2018
OFC Command Positions - closes January 31, 2018
Following the 2017 wildfire season, a need for additional command staff was identified to represent the Office of the Fire Commissioner (OFC) at site levels. To fill this need, the OFC has developed an All Hazard Command Staff response plan. Part of the plan is to pre-identify command staff personnel who have the knowledge, skills and abilities required to be deployed as OFC representatives. Initially, a total of 12 members will be established to be deployed throughout the wildfire season as required. The OFC encourages anyone who feels they meet the minimum qualifications and/or experience to submit a resume to the attention of Deputy Fire Commissioners Stephen Hanna or Ron French.
